Digestive Assessment
Without Proper Digestion, It Is Impossible To Have Optimal Health!
The Following Three Functions In One Test
1. Efficiency of Protein Digestion
- Poor protein digestion can result from the intake of lectins such as gluten: Gluten can agglutinate with other proteins, which makes digestion impossible. This leads to indigestion and eventually putrefaction.
- Putrefaction is detrimental, because it can produce carcinogenic substances. These substances can enter the liver through the general circulation.
- Undigested protein also increases systemic toxicity.
- Poor protein digestion can lead to intestinal microbial overgrowth, which can lead to unfavorable pH changes and impaired absorption.
- Eventually, the inability to digest protein can prevent glycemic control and can lead to serious hormone imbalances. With poor protein digestion, eventually all absorption is adversely affected, including the absorption of water. This can be a prelude to chronic degenerative disorder including gastrointestinal disease and cancer.
2. Lipid Peroxides
- The level of lipid peroxides is an index of cellular membrane damage caused by the action of free radicals (oxidative stress).
- Oxidative stress can result from exposure to toxins or pathogens, especially chemicals and heavy metals.
- Proper free radical control is essential to good health.
- The elevation of lipid peroxides serves as an early warning of the potential long term effects of oxidative stress. The outcome of long-term oxidative stress is chronic degenerative disease, an example being oxidation of low-density lipoproteins contributing to atherosclerosis.
3. Liver Function
- Urinary Bile Acid Sulfates (UBAS) is a direct measurement of liver functional efficiency. One primary function of the liver is to act as a filter of toxins and other metabolically undesirable compounds.
- UBAS is essentially an indicator of the efficiency of the liver in its role as a filter. When the “filter” gets “clogged,” UBAS will begin to show in the urine.
- High levels of urinary bile acid sulfates are an indication of liver impairment.
- All chemicals including prescription drugs are detoxified in the liver.
- Compromised liver function leads to a build up of toxic substances that can damage liver cells and lead to increased risk for cancer and a variety of other degenerative diseases.
THE TEST IS VERY SIMPLE:
You get a test kit with two small vials that need to be filled with first morning urine.
You can participate in this program from the comfort of your own home. Pre-testing and result consultations can be done over the phone. Test kits are either given to you in-person or can be mailed out to you for pre-paid mail return.
